We groom dogs under 30 pounds, at your home. Cat nail trims are available too.

    New clients start here. We meet your pet, learn what they need and make sure the first groom is just right.

    It lasts 45 minutes. With travel it blocks an hour of our day, so please give as much notice as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule.

    An introduction to grooming for puppies up to 16 weeks. We build up to a full groom at your puppy’s pace.

    Needed when a pet is heavily matted or has a lot of undercoat and must be shaved or blown out before the bath.

Snout to Tail wellness check

Every appointment includes our Snout to Tail wellness check.

Getting your home ready

These small things help your pet stay calm and make the visit go smoothly.

  • Space

    Room to set up the grooming table, plus an area on the floor to work.

  • Light

    A well-lit room.

  • A quiet zone

    Fewer people and pets coming and going keeps your pet relaxed. You are welcome to stay and watch, and to help if we ask.

  • A clear tub or sink

    Depending on your pet’s size, we may use your bathtub or kitchen sink. Please remove bottles, soaps and razors from the edges. A hair catcher in the drain helps.

  • A rubber mat

    A rubber bath or sink mat gives your pet good footing.

  • Towels

    Two or three large bath towels when we bathe your pet.

  • Cleanup

    We gather most of the hair, and ask you for a trash bag, broom and dustpan if needed.

  • Your pet ready

    Let them relieve themselves before we arrive, and make sure they are not hiding.

  • A smoke-free home

    Clean air keeps your dog healthier and happier. For health reasons, we cannot work in homes with a strong smell of cigarettes or cigars.
